You’ll shape the commercial strategy, influence long-term planning and tie your rewards directly to business success through a performance-based bonus linked to development and profitability. Work on high-value projects across residential, commercial and industrial sectors, where your decisions will directly impact outcomes and your expertise will steer major contracts.
You’ll be office based with the flexibility to work from home one day a week, letting you focus when you need to while staying close to key project and leadership discussions
What you’ll do
- Lead all commercial activity across major construction projects — from procurement and cost control through to valuations and final accounts
- Drive profitability through strategic cost management and commercial leadership
- Mentor junior surveyors and shape the future of the team
- Collaborate with senior leadership to influence business direction, strengthen client relationships, and open new opportunities
What you’ll need
- At least 10 years’ experience in main contracting quantity surveying, ideally with exposure to commercial strategy and leadership
- A strong track record of delivering profitable projects and managing high-value contracts
- Excellent negotiation skills and a deep understanding of commercial frameworks and cost management
