Some first roles limit your learning.
This one accelerates it.
You’ll be joining a privately owned main contractor and developer that specialises in care homes and later living accommodation, stepping into a supportive site environment where you learn directly from experienced managers while building real responsibility on live projects.
Your first project will be a £10m, 80-bed care home in Peterborough, working closely with an experienced Project Manager. Future schemes are already secured in Kings Lynn and Fakenham, giving you long-term stability and a clear path to progression.
This is a Trainee / Assistant Site Manager role where you’re not stuck observing from the sidelines. You’ll be involved in day-to-day site operations, coordinating trades, learning how programmes run, understanding quality and safety, and gradually taking ownership of packages of work.
Whether you’re coming off the tools or finishing a construction-related degree, this role is designed to turn potential into capability, giving you hands-on experience in a growing business that invests in its people.
What you’ll do
Support the Project Manager with daily site activities

Help manage programme, quality and snagging
